The generation of the 1950s, also known as the generation of social realism or the generation of Civil War children, was a group of writers born in the 1920s, who began to publish mid-way through the 20th century. Interview with two experts in the work of José Manuel Caballero Bonald and Francisco Brines, both of whom died in May 2021.
