Florencia del Campo


Florencia del Campo (Buenos Aires, 1982) has lived in Madrid since 2013. She holds a degree in Publishing from the Faculty of Philosophy and Arts at Buenos Aires University, where she also studied Literature and Cinema.

Her first novel published in Spain was La huésped (Base Editorial, 2016), for which she was finalist in the Short Novel Prize Premio Equis 2014. A year later she published Madre mía (Caballo de Troya, 2017). In 2019 she won the 50th Premio Internacional de Novela Ciudad de Barbastro Prize for La versión extranjera (Pretextos, 2019). In 2020 she published her first book of poems, Mis hijas ajenas, after winning the La Bolsa de Pipas Prize from Editorial Sloper. That same year, she also published her first novel for young people: Soy (Editorial Barrett, 2020).

She has also published novels in Argentina with independent publishers and children’s books in Spain.
