Julia Navarro

Journalist and writer

Julia Navarro (Madrid, 1953) is a journalist and writer. 

She has worked for Spain’s main media outlets including Cadena SER, Cadena COPE, TVE, Telecinco, Canal Sur, and the Europa Press agency, among others.

She is the author of several books in the journalism genre, such as Nosotros, la transición (Temas de Hoy, 1995), 1982-1996, entre Felipe y Aznar (Temas de Hoy, 1996), La izquierda que viene (Espasa Calpe, 1998), Señora presidenta (Plaza & Janés, 1999), and El nuevo socialismo: la visión de José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero (Temas de Hoy, 2001).

In recent years she has captivated millions of readers with her novels, in Spanish, all published by Plaza & Janés: Brotherhood of the Holy Shroud (John Murray, 2007), The Bible of Clay (John Murray, 2008), La sangre de los inocentes (2007), Tell Me Who I Am (2014), Shoot Me, I’m Already Dead (2014), Story of a Sociopath (Vintage Books, 2016), Tú no matarás (2018), De ninguna parte (2021).

Her books have been published in more than 30 countries, and Dime quién soy has been turned into a TV series by Movistar+.
