Maite Mutuberria

Maite Mutuberria (Eltzaburu, Navarra, 1985) is an illustrator of books. She was born in Eltzaburu in 1985 and she has a degree in Audiovisual Communication and Illustration. 

In 2020 her work Lilo (written by Inés Garland and published by Edelvives) was selected in the White Ravens Catalog and in 2019 Bichopoemas y otras bestias (written by Leire Bilbao and edited by Kalandraka) received the Third National Best Edited Book Award in the category of Children’s and Young Adult Literature. She has also received, among others, the Kirico Award, the Lazarillo Award and the Etxepare Award.

She is the author of the picture book for adults Enorme Suciedad (Pepitas Editorial, 2018) and Irrimola (Ikaselkar, 2021), a circular book that she has written and illustrated.
