Piero Salabè has studied in Rome, Venice, London and Munich.
He is Senior Fiction Editor of Hanser Verlag in Munich where he works with Spanish, but also with English, Italian and Arabic literature. Among his authors are Michael Ondaatje, AL Kennedy, T.C. Boyle, Orhan Pamuk, Roberto Bolaño, Claudio Magris, Alaa Al Aswany and Almudena Grandes whose novel tres bodas de Manolita (Tusquets, 2014) will be published in September 2022.
He is also a publicist, a poet and as well as a translator of Italiano and Spanish poetry, being fluent in five languages.
