Yayo Herrero (Madrid, 1965) is a consultant, researcher and teacher in the fields of political ecology, eco-feminism and education for sustainability.
She is a graduate in Social and Cultural Anthropology and has a Diploma in Social Education and Agricultural Engineering, as well as a Diploma in Advanced Studies in the Theory of Education and Social Education. She is also a frequent contributor to the media.
Currently she is a member of Garúa Sociedad Cooperativa and teaches in a number of Spanish universities.
She is author and co-author of publications which include Cambiar las gafas para mirar el mundo (Libros en Acción, 2011), La gran encrucijada (Libros en Acción, 2016), Petróleo (Arcadia, 2018), Cambio climático (Litera, 2019) and Adelante. Solo existe el futuro. Y es nuestro (Aguilar 2020).
